Originally a pencil-and-paper drawing, it was an attempt (about 8 months ago) to draw San from Princess Mononoke (Mononoke Hime) in a fairly realistic manner. While keeping her attitude and features, I tweaked her eyes, nose, mouth, and neck to reflect (what I thought was) accurate anatomy. Then, I scanned it in and I began to edit and color it in Paint.NET. During that time, I had not yet lost my tablet's pen, so I worked mainly with it. However, after losing the pen, I gave up on this for nearly 8 months. Recently, I've returned to work on it with my mouse. The process was much faster now that I had discovered using the "multiply" property instead of changing the opacity and erasing.
Anyways! Just felt like uploading this. Not my best work, though it is my work.
Buy the downloads: contains the same final image without a watermark, and the layered PDN file of work.
