Yeah, can say I've made that mistake a time or two.

Problem is, on a site like Deviantart, people that feel dejected tend to be more numerous, and are far quicker to hostility or insult.  People spill their negative emotions into their artwork almost constantly on here, which in turn stirs emotions of viewers, and it falls into a "social media" situation where people with differing views clash.

Also can say I've seen people take great displeasure in critiques of their work, believing that they are above negative feedback or criticism.
